SABA welcomes all legal professionals who reside/practise in the Greater Toronto Area.
We depend on dues to sponsor speakers, publicize events, and fund activities. Members receive priority to SABA events and are also entitled to reduced rates at SABA sponsored events.
Being a SABA member entails:
· exclusive networking opportunities within SABA and with partner organizations
· access to a network of South Asian professionals in other SABA chapters across North America
· a free listing on SABA's Lawyer Referral database
· involvement in issues regarding South Asians in the legal profession
· opportunities to interact with bodies such as the Law Society of Upper Canada and various levels of government on issues affecting South Asian lawyers
· opportunity to mentor law students and young lawyers
· access to employment and academic postings forwarded to SABA
· ability to list personal publications on the SABA website
· ability to have access to SABA and its members to promote career opportunities in the judiciary, government or the non-profit sectors
· ability to access SABA and its affiliates for personal and professional questions regarding the practise of law |
